Artist Statement<\/h2>\n

born in W\u00fcrzburg, Germany | lives and works in Berlin.<\/h6>\n
“My mainly site-specific artworks consist primarily of multi-layered installations in which I generate referential settings with the help of video, photography, text and participatory elements. The reference to current discourses and theories and the involvement of the public is one of my concerns. I also work with artists, scientists and theorists.”<\/span><\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Starting from a conceptual, context-based perspective, my artistic works move along the boundaries of visibility and latent existence. In processual and long-term research work, structures of order and reference are questioned and new possibilities of reference are developed.<\/p>\n

Central to this is the investigation and development of spaces for action and opportunities for action, as well as conditions for synergies through collaboration. I incorporate questions into complex, audience-integrative, participatory and site-specific installations or implement them within direct active\/activist cultural-political and curatorial work.<\/p>\n

Questions of collective action, authorship and the social and political impact of art play a special role.
